I am an "inactive" Gangmember who used to run with G.D.N. and I saw too much USELESS, SENSELESS, STUPID, losses and killing, stuff that was just so innocent that there was no reason for someone to get hurt over but it happned all over a egotistical masculine argument that you cant tread on me beacause Im this and or Im that......BIG DEAL.......Bottom line is I realized this life was useless in anything I wanted so much more so I stopped hanging out and wanted my Wife and Son to be my life not my GANG/SET/ORGINIZATION.. they werent paying my bills or raising my family....so I decided to help a freind of mine start teaching Martial arts to help make a difference in youths lives and give them a possitive place to hang... Now I work in a juvenile facilty/boot camp type place and I see so many HARD GANGSTERS that come in from Chicago, Grand Rapids Michigan, Gary In., Michigan City In, Datyon Oh, Cincinnatti Oh, Indianapolis In, Flint Michigan, Detroit Mich, Columbus Oh, and all have one thing in common they just want to be "liked, or respected" that's it bottom line..... I have seen some of the hardest kids off the meanest streets clam up and cry when confronted by an officer or what not... I have had to go "hands on" with many of them 15, 16, 17, 18 and some even 19 yrs old in there with this attitude that Im from so and so and Im this and that and if you F**k with me Im gonna kick your a** well the truth of the matter is this... once they try it its the last time they try it....I've had to severely hurt a couple of juviniles because they just didnt understand they wasnt on the street and their THUG mentality didnt carry over in Jail...I have seen a tremendous amount of kids turn thier lives around when getting out after going thru our program "scared straight" type deal... and I get letters from a few saying Officer B. you changed my attitude and my way of looking at things they are going to school now on a regular basis, getting an education, leaving that Gang alone, and hopefully turning out to be productive citizens...... But my point is for those of you that have not been in this type of facilty...You need to re-evaluate your life now... whats it worth to you? to your family? to your parents? or your children if you have them? Dont let a place like where I work at have to change your mind for you.. You must try this now.... Many of you complain about since I've joined this and that has happened.. and I am scared, well DUH!!!! what did you thing was going to happen when you join a gang, hang out wearing your colors and drink and smoke all day... IT dont happen like that my friends..... the truth of the matter is Gangsters DONT LIVE FOREVER>>> in fact they dont live LONG period.. Ask your self, ARE YOU READY TO DIE TODAY? if so Im sorry for you..... if your not ask yourself WHY am I doing this thing.. I want a life I want to live........ Im sorry I drug this on forever but I cant elaborate enough on this type of thing.. "For one to submit to the horrors of life, one must submit to thier own demons of thier mind".
