People there really isn't a war going on. You are killing yourselves, your brothers and sisters and your own communities. A poor area doesn't need to be a violent, drug riddled, gang warfare society. I dated a blood, he has so much to offer, he showed me more respect than any man in my life, and I know that's hard to understand but its true. He just didn't see the error with his lifestyle, and I just couldn't accept it, but in reality he was a bright loving mis-guided person. I spent years of my life angry because I look different, I have a disability it means people dis-respect me everyday of my life, it means I have had lodes of painful surgery and hard times. You know what I realized being angry and wanting to hurt other people didn't stop them dis-respecting me. What I needed to do was love myself and improve my own life, so I did and I feel 100% better. Anger takes over your life, drugs ruin it believe me and no one but your own respects a gang member. You need to look after your own community, regenerate it into a place where children can walk the streets, take responsibility for your children and their actions, stand up for your people. No one in the wider community cares unless it spills out into their area, you have to care. There are bigger fights to tackle, discrimination, poverty, drugs and education that everyone is entitled to. You have one life, use it well |
