Gang Life: In The Words of Gang Members

Hello my people. I just wanted to express my thoughts on all this gang activity that is trying to take over my neighborhood. I am a 26 year old sista, who grew up in North Newark NJ, and I would love to raise my children here also.

Right now, my Black people are way beyond disappointing me. Why is it that we are the only race that feels the need to commit genocide(killing of our own people)? And for what purpose? Because that person wore the wrong color or because he/she simply wasn't liked or belonged? This is absolutely ridiculous!!!

You don't see any other race committing murder on their own. The KKK doesn't even have to concern themselves with our numbers because we are doing exactly what they want anyway. We don't even have to worry about any terrorists blowing us away. WE ARE BLOWING OURSELVES AWAY!!!!! And that is sad because we are the most diverse race in the world.

We are the only race that can procreate and make a child that looks exactly like a person of another race. We are the smartest race, the dumbest(sad), the most populated, the oldest, the tallest, the shortest, we are the most unique, but yet and still, we won't be around in this world much longer at the rate we're going.

I never once had to worry about what color I was wearing when I left my house! And it's crazy to think I have to start doing that in order to live. But now, am I really living if I have to worry about some ignorant(and yes, this is all very ignorant) person trying to take my life because I wanted to wear a blue shirt or a red dress or a purple outfit or whatever color I'm told I'm not supposed to wear?

All because he/she wanted to be part of a gang? Do you know what gang means? It means a group or band of youths with compatible interests or taste who associate and work closely together for social reasons. So why can't all the gang members come together and help build our people up to great and powerful numbers instead of severly decreasing us?

Why give yourselves only two options in life: jail or death? Give yourselves along with the rest of your race a chance. Our ancestors have worked too hard for our race to end this way.

There is a better way people.

And it's closer than you think.
