sometimes I wonder why
do we even try in this life
gets so dark before we see the light
everythings wrong when we want it right

still we keep on waitin for another day
hold up our head n fight all the way
push the clouds out and get tough
a smile on our face even when its rough

sometimes the trouble we cant control
seems too much and we wanna fold
but survivors of the street never die
when times get hard our heads held high

tomorrows a new day
do everything in a new way
even if its hard thats ok
God wants the strong anyway
