We are not about telling you what you need to change. We are about building on your strengths and your ability to survive in a world that is hostile against us, the gang member. Being non-violent isn't enough. They want to eliminate us. It is up to us to build a political force that remain true to our roots and our past. The gang is not the problem. It is the lack of resources and choices in our neighborhoods that fuels the rage. Have we not suffered as a people enough? Black, Brown, and the poor aren't we all victims of the same reality. The distribution of wealth is for the dominant culture and dominance is not something they are willing to relinquish. Why should they? We are dying. The pain you feel at what has been done at you and to you is what fuels the rage and in order to find resolution we must become aware and comfortable with our rage. Remember it is justified. Only through inner-peace will there be peace in the streets. More police more guns more force. It has never worked. We are not expendable. Find the resources so that we can heal ourselves.
