Those youth desiring to have their gang tattoos removed, free of charge through the Gang Outreach Tattoo Removal Program must:
* Show They Have Changed And Are No Longer Affiliated With A Gang.
* Be An Active Participant In The Gang Outreach Transitions Program.
* Regularly Participate In Community Service Programs.
When an individual meets the above criteria, they are then eligible for the Tattoo Removal Program. An appointment is then made at a Chicago clinic which offers laser tattoo removal. Depending on the type of tattoo, a complete removal may require several visits to the clinic.
