my life as a banger has been quite tough. grwing up in cali and all thatt ****. i luv my gang but ive dont lots of stuff wrong. my total time in prision is 3 years. it aint so much but its time. and it was living ****. i still live in la. i got 4 brothers. they all in gangs. 1 is killed. others very close. 1 of them has been shot 12 times. dont know how hes alive. hes a fighter. but even though this life im livin is tough i cant quit no matter wat. shoot me stab wat eva u want. ive been stabed 4 times. and shot 5.

Hey thanks for posting this. You get sociologists and people trying understand the gang mentality. So bear in mind these questions are for people looking at the site who may not know about gangs and would appreciate some unbderstanding.
Can you run it down for people?
You say it's tough, why stick with it?
How did you get into it?
Was there pressure?
If you had your life over what would you do the same or different?
What did you want from life growing up? Has the gang changed that?

1. it is tough but there my boys and u gotta understand stuff. gang life dont come easy but if u quit u disrespecting were u come from and u can get killed
2.livin in cali evrywere u go thers gangs. grpwing up thats ur only option. live hard ot die. and i dont wana die wen i was young so i joined.
3.there was pressure doing all the things i was doing and still are but i live with it and its rough
4.i still would have joined cuz like i said gang was my only option my whole family is in a gang.
5.at first i didnt wanna be in a gang but i knew it was my only option. gang has changed my life drasticly.

i was in the car with my homies drivin. and i had my color bandana on and we were drivin and there was a dude with another color bandana on in a different car and pulled up next to me on a red light and boom. i hate livin in the hood i need help need 2 get out of this gang i cant stand the pain

no im not gonna speak with no one but you guys. ther are churches but i got no time 2 go to 1. i know what sounds stupid but im gonna start tryin 2 go like evry sunday or somin. the hoods my family though i got no one else. my fam wont get out of gang life. if i spoke with some 1 gang could find out wat i was sayin and then one miture boom to da head and ill be gone so no ser ey im not talkin but i fell i can talk to u guys
