Dont know homie. I saw this post yesterday and I been thinking about it myself....I dont think love itself fails I think we fail at love...not just love for a man or women but for ourselves and our fellow man. Even when we love god today, then the next day we're mad cause something bad happened, or a homie got shot, or something in the news.“love conquers all,” well if that were true it will keep our loved ones from dying or cancers or keep people from hurting other people....but we fail at love when couples divorce after "death do us part" or parents and children in judgmental silences... Wars erupt over boundaries, religious division, ethnic tension. Poverty, prejudice and hunger testify mutely to extraordinary failures of loving.
Yet, often against our best efforts, love exists. It stands as a miracle of grace in our midst. WE fail at love, but the Spirit picks us up off the ground, dusts us off and sends us back into the fray.....this is what I think and chances are this does not answer your question. I love my fellow man, but Im not perfect so my love is not perfect so im just as guilty of failing love as much as the next man. I hope this helps in someway. Laters homie

no doubt fam..i think bout deep ish 2 much sumtimez...lol...but itz good cuz it givez me more understandin...u kno...n yeah dat did help...u 100% rite...u got a lotta wisdom...no 2 ppl in a relationship will eva have perfect luv becuz da only tru luv n perfect person iz God...datz y so many yung women raisin kidz alone wit no $$$ n man...im tired of seein dat ish...4real...i try 2 tell dem all 99% of **** kare bout iz sex, dey dont listen til dey awready got 2 or 3 kidz n no $$$ or man by der side...

Hey man, I read this also, and couldn't get this off my mind. I love the fact that your being real because that is when we start finding answers. I agree that no one person can love perfectly. It is only God who can. That is why we should be encouraged to put our trust in Him alone.
I encourage you my brother to pray that God will fill your heart with His love. Coming from the streets I know where you are coming from but His love is steadfast.
But along the lines of a woman...my brother, I am living proof of striving towards loving others with the love of God. I am not perfect at it and never will be because. I encourage you to ask God to show you and bring men and women in your life that will pour God's love into your heart.
I know this sounds mushy in a sense, but I highly respect your honesty. Continue to seek God's love and He will be faithful to you.Posted 5 months ago # -

Bro, I hear you. It is real talk! You are bein real, I love the fact you sharin your heart cuz the church needs to hear this. I too have lost friends, many friends in tha streets too. Not many Christians in the church understand what its like. I struggle with this too in the church.
I myself also have seen pastors who got so much money and ask for more, I have also seen those who dont. Thats y Paul in the Bible and Jesus is so real...they neva had money yet look at who they were! Thats real.
Question tho, I myself have been in tha streetz! I want to ask you how can someone like me help out? reach out and meet needs? I've been were u r at in life... I may not b in the streetz no more but I want to start a ministry to walk with g's in their lives. I see that u would be real wit me here. I would like to hear ur heart more, and hear what u think would be helpful. What is it that you want to see the church do specifically? What is it that would be effective? Cash, No we havnt come from the same exact situations...ive been in gangs tho, ive lost people, i lost 21 years of my own life. But we do not need to compare whose had it worse or not...the fact is we have had pain maybe not exactly the same. I know that the church is not reaching out and helping. Heck, I've been lookin for a place were I can serve and I am not findin anything but this site. Cash, you seem to like muzik alot. One artist that truly hits tha spot is This'l, the album is Chronicles of an x-hustler. Its encouragin to hear his rap. It's real and he's been through it all. He is some1 who has come from the heart of the streetz and now has a heart 4 tha Lord. It's incredible.
Thank you for answerin my question cuz its important to hear 4rm some1 who see's the need. I dont care what it takes to help out, reach out, and spend the money time and effort to help gangs get back on their feet and help them, dude I want to do it. Success aint money, success is workin for the Kingdom of God. Some of the richest dudes are the poorest in God's eyes. Scripture says that!
I am very sorry that no one reached out to you Cash. I am sorry that Christians have hurt you. Christians needs an wake up call. This was and is a huge conviction. I am proud of you and glad that you know God's luv. Although you have been hurt and it's understandable i still pray that someone will shine God's love also.
