We work with youth who are from the ages of 10 to 21 and are high risk of being homeless, runaways or at-risk of being sexually exploited, gang involvement, have serious family dynamics or truancy issues.
The youths are referred to our program by school counselors, boys and girls clubs or word of mouth from other youths who are or were in our program. We also offer mentoring for our youth.
Our primary goal is to establish a relationship with our youth and provide them prevention and intervention information that they may use to help them with make better decisions which they can use at school, home and around their peers. Tina and I have met and talked to active gang members and they have all basically stated the "I wish I had not joined the gang "I can't get out" I've seen too many of my friends die"
